Bromley Conservatives celebrated another success this week as it was independently rated as the best place for green spaces and to raise a family in London.
The surveys, conducted by Barratt London and Making Moves respectively, concluded that Bromley was the place in London with the most green spaces of any borough; as well as being the best place to move in London to achieve a successful work-life balance given the job opportunities, low crime rates and outstanding schools. The organisations also highlighted treasured community spots such as High Elms and Kelsey Park as reasons to move to our local area.
Councillor Kate Lymer, Deputy Leader of Bromley Council, commented:
"The fact that two surveys independently have come to the conclusion that Bromley is the best place in London to live comes as no surprise to Bromley's Conservatives. We're so proud that our Borough boasts accessible green spaces in abundance, alongside low crime rates, outstanding schools and activities that the whole family can enjoy.
These judgements are as a result of the fantastic work our communities and businesses do day in, day out to make this a fantastic place to live - and Bromley Conservatives will always work to support them by delivering outstanding and innovative public services that are cost-effective to local taxpayers.
We’ll always do what’s best to make this a place you and your family are proud to call home".
