The first gully was installed in Bromley on July 3rd. Eight houseowners who do not have a driveway will have a gully across the pavement so they can charge their electric car for their house without trailing wires across the pavement. If the trial is successful, it will be offered to any householder who wishes to pay for a gully outside their home.
